PAyment

Most of our teachers charge a monthly rate of roughly $175. This varies from teacher to teacher and can increase based on location, timing, etc. Your monthly rate grants one 30 minute lesson every week of every month. Holidays and school closures are built into this rate, but so are months with 5 lessons in them. For missed lessons will try to arrange a makeup lesson, add extra time to a few lessons, or give a $40 credit on your next bill if nothing can be worked out. We cannot guarantee these options when clients cancel, especially if it is chronic or last-minute. If the teacher cancels, you may request whichever option you prefer, including just asking for a credit and foregoing a makeup lesson.

Payment is processed using Quickbooks Online. We file your payment information and write up your bill once a month based on your rate and any credits that need to be applied. Credit card fee applies.

scheduling

Once you have agreed upon a time with your instructor we will honor that time for the duration of the school year. Because we are traveling acts, we do ask for some flexibility though. It is best if our instructors can arrive up to 15 minutes either early or late. We try hard to make sure that lessons are scheduled at the correct times based on our drives, but we often stay after a lesson to chat with a parent and provide feedback and of course traffic varies a great deal in our area. We won’t be shy about asking you to switch times for a week or even permanently. When students cancel for illness or discontinue we try to keep our schedules efficient. If you cannot make the change, please don’t feel pressured to do so. We will honor the time you agreed upon for the entire school year. At the start of the summer and school year, we usually need to reset our schedules to accommodate all our clients and keep our driving reasonable.
